Some people think that only parents or those who already has a family are the only ones who enjoy doing the grocery. NOT! I'm one of the living proof that even though I'm not yet a Mom or a wife, I really enjoy doing the grocery. At home, back then, I would always volunteer to do the grocery and even now that I am already earning my own money, I would still do the grocery for my own needs and I would still volunteer to do the grocery for my Mom. Why? Because it makes me relax, seeing different products and comparing prices makes me a better shopper through the years but what I noticed is that there are supermarkets that doesn't offer that much of discount that consumers really need specifically "sulit buys", buy 1-take 1 and more.
Thankfully, Super 8 is here to save the day. Super 8 is a grocery warehouse store that provides retailers and shoppers a wide array of quality products at wholesale prices with excellent service. This August, shoppers can take advantage of the super low prices because of BIG discounts, promos and giveaways as they celebrate their 11th year.

If you feel like to can't survive a SALE and you're still trying to make ends meet on how to save money on doing the grocery, check out my tips below:
- Make a LIST. Make sure to list only the products that you need and are a necessity in the household, prioritize food so that you can stuck it for emergency especially now that it's been raining most of the time and you won't probably have the chance to go to the grocery if there's a storm signal.
- Make Sure you are FULL and you have eaten before you hit the grocery. You might be stuck on a long line to the cashier specifically if it's a weekend or it's a big Sale. Chances are you might grab more food that aren't really on your list but you bought it anyway because you feel hungry at that time.
-Pick a nice cart that will not slower you down once you start doing the rounds in the grocery store.
-Look for items and products that can save you more money. There are plenty of Buy 1 -Take 1 at Super 8 and there are also items where you buy a product, it also comes with a container and more.
- Budget your money. Never go beyond what you have already budgeted for your list, this way you can always check and compare the prices of the products if the prices have gone higher or lower.
- Use a CALCULATOR. This is a BIG help for me. I can also manage how much I've already shop even before I go to the cashier.
- Download a Mobile app specifically SUPER 8 Mobile App. This app will give you less hassle and more tips and infos on your shopping needs.
-Bring your own Eco Bag, this way we can help the environment.
-Use Super 8 Rewards Card, you can earn points and eventually use it to shop in the future.
It would also be a big help if you will be grab the chance to own the Super 8 Rewards Card.
Super8 Rewards Card is customer loyalty program that rewards members with points every time they shop at any Super8 branches. Points will be loaded to the card every transaction. Points can then be used to redeem anything sold in any Super8 store. Super8 Rewards Card members will also get exclusive access to sale events and discounts.
This new Super8 Rewards Card will be honored starting April 16, 2016.
For every P4,000 worth of grocery purchases, Super 8 Rewards Card (SRC) holders will automatically be rewarded with 80 points. Duration is from August 1-31, 2017.
HOW TO GET SUPER8 REWARDS CARD MEMBERSHIP
1. Go to the nearest Super8 Store and bring 1 valid ID.
2. Go to Customer Service Counter, fill up the enrollment form and pay P100.00 membership fee.
3. Claim your Super8 Rewards Card at the Customer Service Counter in a few minutes.
4. Always bring your Super8 Rewards Card to earn points in your transaction.
SUPER8 REWARDS CARD POINTS
Earn points by purchasing at any Super8 Branch. Just present your Super8 Rewards Card to the cashier at the start of the transaction.
Cardholder earns 1 point for every P200.00 worth of purchase. Every point is equivalent P1.00.
One can redeem points at any Super8 Branch. There is no minimum purchase amount required to use the card.
Since most of us rely on our smartphones and the internet nowadays, Super 8 launches their very own Mobile App that is a big help for all their loyal shoppers. You can have access to great deals and exciting promos of Super 8 plus navigation where you shop at the Super 8 branch near you. You can also track your points via the Super 8 Rewards Card.
What more, as an added treat, Super 8 Mobile App users will get access to exclusive 8-Peso items. If you haven't yet, make sure to download the Super 8 Mobile App, available on both Apple Store and Google Play, and avail of these added rewards!

Mechanics:
1. Promo is exclusive to Rewards Cardholders only.
2. Get one (1) raffle coupon, for a min P800 in a single-receipt purchase of any item in any Super8 branch.
3. Purchase amount must be net of discounts and incentives.
4. Once qualified, raffle coupon will be generated at the end of the receipt. Customer Rewards Card Number and Complete Name will automatically appear in the coupon.
5. Customer should fill up the raffle coupon with his/her complete address, contact number and affix his/her signature.
6. Customers may drop their filled-up stub/s at the designated drop box found at the Customer Service Area.
7. Raffle draw will be held at Super8's Binondo Head Office (11th floor, G.A. Cu Unjieng Center, 208 Dasmarinas St., Corner Quintin Paredes St. Binondo,Manila ), in the presence of a DTI representative.
