A few more days till Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino 2018 starts and we're all excited to watch the movies this year. There are a lot of interesting entries for 2018 and one of them is "ANGE BABAENG ALLERGIC SA WIFI" starring Markus Paterson, Sue Ramirez and Jameson Blake, written and directed by no less than Jon Robles Lana.

CIGNAL ENTERTAINMENT, the new original content division of CIGNAL, in partnership THE IDEAFIRST COMPANY and OCTOBERTRAIN FILMS, presents a fresh look at love in the digital age with “Ang Babaeng Allergic Sa WiFi".

When a teenage girl played by Sue Ramirez as Norma, develops an allergy to Wi-Fi, she is forced to live in a remote province, pushing her to reevaluate her relationship with boyfriend Leo played by Markus Paterson. She then became close with Leo's brother Aris played by Jameson Blake and Macha played by Angellie Sanoy.

The film held an Exclusive advance screening at the Director's Club of SM Megamall where the cast were also present:

Direk Jun Lana was also present during the screening and invited everyone to support their film which will start of August 15.

The film is very relatable especially to the millennials right now who loves to use WIFI as a tool to update their social media life but what happens when there's no WIFI? will it still affect the reality of life? will it become a hindrance to form a solid relationship? In my personal opinion, the cast were all perfect for their respective roles - Sue Ramirez did a wonderful job as Norma, her eyes were very expressive and she can very well deliver in every given scene specifically when it comes to drama scenes, you'' definitely get carried away with her, that's how good she is, now I understand why Arjo Atayde mentioned in the past that Sue Ramirez is one of her bucket list when it comes to working in the showbiz industry.

Markus Paterson is a big discovery in this film, he can very well keep up with his co-actors especially with Jameson Blake. For a beginner like him, he seems quite good especially when delivering his lines. He made it a point that he is not your usual good looking boy in this movie but a person who can act.

Jameson Blake is without a doubt a versatile actor, no doubt about his acting skills because he is very talented and he can deliver his lines even by just using his eyes. Plus you will definitely fall in love with his character as Aris in this film, aside from his charms, his warm and adorable character in this movie will surprise you in the end so you really have to watch this movie.

I also love the character of Angellie Sanoy as Macha, she is so spot on as the typical girl buddy of Aris - she's honest, so honest that she can speak anything on her mind, she always give Aris the best advises making them the best tandem in this film, I can't imagine anyone portraying this role aside from her, she's really good!

All in all, I really enjoyed the movie. I recommend you bring a hanky or tissue when you decide to watch this film because you will definitely need it. Plus, it is directed by an award winning director who hemmed the movies Die Beautiful and Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes! Another thing is that you will surely love the soundtrack of this film, I love  While We Are Young by Keiko Necesario. You'll also feel nostalgic with some of their backdrops and items used in the film like the typewriter, cassette recorder and more.

The story showcases how love is supposed to be - pure of surprises, worth a try and willing to sacrifice just to make that person happy, and it will also dig deeper in tackling how the internet has helped everyone into a better person or an evil person?

Don't miss "Ang Babaeng Allergic sa Wifi" starting August 15 in cinemas nationwide!
