Comedy Queen Ms. AiAi Delas Alas proves that when it rains, it pours and this is all because of the continuous blessings coming her way.
Just recently, she won Best Actress in the prestigious Cinemalaya 2018 for the movie "School Service" directed by no less than Louie Ignacio, it's a different role compared to what she usually does and it's very challenging to her but everything is all worth it. At first she was doubting her son Sancho when he asked if she really won the said award and when it was confirmed, she was really emotional.
AiAi shared that she wasn't really expecting that much especially in winning Best Actress award since she knows that Glaiza De Castro was the crowd favorite for her movie Liway, she is very thankful that she was still recognized and it she hopes more people will get to watch the movie.
From Ai Sarap to Chang Ai Express, the rebranding of their resto is something that they've planned since most of the people got confused with the address and tends to get lost when they are looking for Ms. AiAi and Sancho's resto thus the rebranding of the resto.
Chang means longevity in Chinese and Ai is just added so that her name is still there, in terms of the food and prices, it's still the same although they've added new flavors and meals. The Comedy Queen shared that she loves working hard because she gets bored when she is not doing anything and she doesn't like the feeling of not being pre-occupied which is why when she is not busy she focus on checking out what she can do at Chang Ai Express although Sancho, his son owns it and is also one of the Chef in the resto. Aside from this, she is also busy with an upcoming film with Ex Battalion under Viva Films plus her show Sunday PinaSaya and The Clash via GMA Network.
AiAi also explained her side regarding the "bashers" who comments on her Instagram account saying that she is not a good judge in The Clash because she doesn't pick the perfect candidate in the singing competition, according to her, it's her duty to pcik the best of the best among them all, she pointed out that she hopes viewers especially the netizens and fans understands that the contestants should do their 100% when they are performing because it's the shot of their life, 1 mistake can lead them to being cut off the The Clash but she added that she enjoys the show and doesn't mind the negative feed backs.
