Founded by Haruhisa Handa, the Japanese charitable organization has gained renown for its active involvement and sponsorship in major global gold tournaments and has also played a major role in the promotion of blind golf worldwide.

Among its Ambassadors are former New Zealand Prime Minister Sir John Key, former Prime Minister of Ireland Enda Kenny, International rugby icons Dan Carter, Francois Pienaar and Mike Tindell as well as top rank golf pros including Lydia Ko, Ernie Els, Rafa Cabrera-Bello, Lexi Thompson, Michelle Wie, Thornbjorn Olesen, Emiliano Grillo and Lee Westwood.

"It is a great honor to be an ISPS Handa Ambassador" Pacquiao said during the press conference. ISPS donated $100,000 to Pacquiao's Emmanuel & Jinkee's Foundation. Manny said that they will use it for helping children in  need specifically with school needs among others.

"I was able to meet Dr. Handa earlier in Japan this year, and we have become good friends since then. Since we are both sports enthusiasts, we share the same vision of using sports to bring people together and promote world peace, and I am happy to know that this is the same vision that has inspired ISPS Handa since it began." The boxing icon said.

Manny Pacquiao reclaimed the WBA World Welterweight title after defeating Argentinian fighter Lucas Matthysse during their fight of Champions at the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia last July 15. Manny is  set to fight Adrien “The Problem” Broner in January 2019, details are not yet finalized but he said the match would probably take place in the US.
