Nuvali lights up its magical field of lights in partnership with Walt Disney in this year's theme 'Reimagine the MAGIC'

Sunday, November 25, 2018

Ayala Land's largest sustainable estate Nuvali is presenting its annual immersive light and sound show in partnership with The Walt Disney Company Philippines beginning November 24, 2018. The show will run every 30 minutes from 6:00 to 10:00PM and can be experienced at the Nuvali football field, also known as The Fields, beside Ayala Malls Solenad.

Now on its third year, Nuvali's holiday light and sound spectacle has been titled "Reimagine the Magic: A Festival of Lights." Visitors will enjoy well-loved Disney tunes as a field of 5,000 LED bulbs light up like an enchanted field of tulips. Aside from the musical of laser lights, the crowd favorite 50-meter light tunnel makes a return. Guests will also be enchanted by a number of Disney installations.

The magic of Disney is featured in this year's light show with well-loved Disney soundtracks such as "When You Wish Upon a Star," "Beauty and the Beast," and "Let It Go" in orchestral renditions arranged by the seasoned composer and former musical director of Hong Kong Disneyland, Mr. Rony Fortich. The medley is complemented by the spectacular lighting effects once again by Mr. Voltaire de Jesus who has worked on our previous light shows.

For the first time, guests can also enjoy the "Festival of Lights" while supporting a cause. The show will have a fundraising event for the Hero Foundation which supports the families of fallen soldiers. Part of the Php 50.00 will be donated to the foundation. As a way of thanking donors, each donation will include a fast past access to the show, a spot in the bleacher seats and Disney-themed bottled water. Interested guests may register and pay online or inside the venue itself.

"We've had guests coming from Metro Manila and from neighboring provinces such as Batangas, Cavite and Laguna. Our intent is to bring Ayala Land's Christmas tradition to thecommunities south of Metro Manila." said John Estacio, Nuvali General Manager. He adds that aside from spreading the yuletide cheer this season, the show emphasizes the natural beauty of Nuvali by deriving inspiration from nature as seen with the tulips and Anahaw-like light installations. The estate's open spaces and cool holiday breeze also encourages the community to spend more time outdoors.

Viewers can look forward to the music of Disney in this year's light and sound spectacular. We also have Disney-inspired installations and a 50-meter light tunnel that has turned into a popular attraction from our previous editions.

Nuvali presents uniqueness in terms of the actual venue of our light show. The lights are scattered in an open field. This means enjoying thousands of vividly colored tulip stems that change color, tube lights, and light spheres that resemble magical orbs in a large, open area. Another must-see experience in this lively, illuminated field is the 50-meter tunnel light. Additional new features are our Disney installations.

The "Festival of Lights" isn't the only thing guests and residents can look forward to this holiday season in Nuvali. The Solenad Christmas Bazaar, featuring food and holiday gift items will run every weekend until January 6, 2019.

Guests can enjoy a picnic by the lakeside or try out the lakeside activities such as fish feeding, the boat ride or biking around the four-hectare lake. For those seeking a more athletic kind of activity, they may also visit Camp N and Republic Wakepark.

Spending the weekend at Nuvali is also recommended. Guests can stay at Seda Hotel, dine
and shop at Solenad, enjoy the parks and the recreational activities, then cap the day with
the festival of lights. The following day. the family may opt to go for a bike ride around.

The media were treated with a free movie! We watched Fantastic Beast: The Crimes of Grindelwald while others enjoyed the film Bohemian Rhapsody

Guests can visit Ayala Malls Solenad for more dining options, or go shopping or catch a good movie at the Cinemas.

That's me enjoying the tunnel of lights!
