DRAGON LADY intensifies as Janine Gutierrez showcases fierce side of Scarlet

It's been weeks since Dragon Lady debuted on GMA Network's afternoon slot and the plot continues to have many surprises and twists leaving the viewers expect more on the upcoming episodes.
Aside from anticipating what will happen next to Scarlet, it's also nice to check out the OOTD's of the cast, they're definitely on fire episode after episode! I love how elegant Scarlet and the rest of the cast look.
Viewers like me also enjoys every relatable and comeback lines of each character. This makes each performance even more impressive and noteworthy. The way Janine Gutierrez delivers all her lines with a distinct facial expression is superb and I love her she can be a funky "BIDA" compared to the usual bida roles.

In case you missed some episodes, here are Dragon Lady's highlights:
Vera (Maricar de Mesa) finds out that James (DJ Durano, Vera’s close confidant) has been gambling away some of her company’s money. They get into a heated argument and James says that he has a hold against Vera.
James has a video of Vera saying that she killed Scarlet (Janine Gutierrez’ parents). Scarlet instructs Michael (Tom Rodriguez) to retrieve the files in James’ laptop. Michael agrees because he’s head over heels for Scarlet.
Michael gets frustrated with Scarlet. He feels like he is being led on so he “kidnaps” her and talks to her about their relationship. They end up in abandoned house and become intimate with each other.
Goldwyn (EA Guzman) finds them sleeping beside each other. He starts to attack Michael. Goldwyn is furious because he loves Scarlet (but his feelings aren’t being reciprocated).
Scarlet reveals to Michael that she has been playing him all this time.
Almira (Diana Zubiri), Scarlet’s mom, is apparently still alive.
I love the transition of Janine's character. She can very well do a fierce bida role, which totally embodies woman empowerment. I remember when we first interviewed Janine about her role as Dragon Lady, she mentioned that what she loved about this role is that it embodies a strong female character which can inspire all the women out there to stand up for what they believe is right and fight for what is right.
